Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the oldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which houses a number of top gospel artists.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned a BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he was called by God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.

Pastor Chris: The Mentor

While still in university, the Man of God began what would turn out to be the biggest congregation worldwide. It began with an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would eventually become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers across the globe.

The LoveWorld ministry was established under Pastor Chris. It's a pioneer in satellite television, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the globe.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. In Canada, Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year that allow the manifestation of miracles.
